This is a “Thumbnail Sketch” of the On-Site Process Utilized by the Runway Safety Consulting LLC Subject Matter Experts - To Help You and Others Operate Safely on Your Airport

 

·       Interviews and meetings with on-site Tenants, Users, Operators, etc. (Day 1 thru Day 3)

 

o      Air Traffic Control Tower personnel, Automated Flight Service Station personnel, Airway Facility (Technical Operations) personnel, FBO personnel, Air Carrier personnel (station and flight ops), Corporate Flight Ops Department personnel, Airfield Drivers, Refueling/Services personnel, etc. etc.

 

·       Airfield Drivers’ Meeting and Class (Day 3) (1.5 hours)

 

o      Finding out what they know, and need to know.

o      Teaching them proven best practices, lessons learned, “show and tell”, etc.

 

  • Daylight and After-Sunset Airfield Tours (Day 3) on a non-interfering (with aircraft operations) basis.

 

o      First-hand “team” look at actual, perceived, and/or potential problems.

o      Every available stakeholder/operator participates.

 

·       Meeting with Local Stakeholders (Day 4)

    

o      Consensus on any necessary actions.

o      Improved safety through teamwork and collaboration.

o      Basis for the final report and agreed-upon action plan.

 

·       Evening seminar for the local flying public (optional) (2.5 hours)

 

o      “Staying Alive On Any Airport”.

o      Enhanced awareness & best practices.

o      All positive about your airport.

 

Note: This process has been implemented and proven successful and effective at every kind of airport and in every kind of aviation community.  Members of the Runway Safety Consulting LLC personally conducted the above listed (and other) activities at over one hundred sites, which improved the safety of millions of people at public-use airports all across the United States.
